デザイナー 長谷川晋也 / SHINYA HASEGAWA
2011年にニューヨーク・マンハッタンのガーメントディストリクトで、デザイナーの長谷川晋也氏が設立した〈バテンウェア〉。「上質なヴィンテージスポーツウェア」「機能性豊かなアウトドアウェア」「スタイリッシュな日常着」をコセンプトに掲げ、アウトドアと街のライフスタイルや、旅する人々のニーズを満たす機能性とファッションに着目したコレクションを毎シーズン展開しています。
製品は長谷川氏が10代の頃に影響を受けたアメリカ製のスポーツウェアやアウトドアウェアからインスピレーションを得て作られ、メイドインUSAのモデルを中心に、日本のハイテク素材を取り入れた日本製、スウェットはカナダ製にこだわり生産されています。
2017年にはカリフォルニア州トパンガキャニオンに移転、デザインスタジオをオープン。2022年秋冬コレクションで創業10周年を迎えました。
